About
Supported living at Rowan Tree Court is a supported living service for adults with
learning disabilities and/or mental health issues. The service comprises of four
2-bedroom apartments, all in close proximity to each other and on the same floor.
The four apartments are located within a larger development of apartments, which
contain a mixture of private owners, tenants and also affordable housing tenants.
The scheme is for three service users in total, with one service user occupying each
2-bedroom apartment. Each service user has their own standard easy-read individual
tenancy agreement with Complete Care Services Ltd. Service users receive support
from Tamarindo Care Ltd; this support can be with any and every aspect of daily
living.
Out of the four apartments, one apartment is designated as a support base where
there is a member of support staff present 24/7; ensuring that the service user
has the reassurance of a staff member always being present yet has the independence
of their own front door. The support base apartment is also used as a communal
area where service users can spend time together/with staff and also undertake
various independent living skills classes (such as budgeting, cooking, etc) and
e-learning.
The dedicated staff and management team are highly experienced in managing challenging
behaviours, mental health associated needs and complex needs. There are currently
6 male service users at Rowan Tree Court; with a younger age range.
