We Can Support You We specialise in the support of adults aged 18-65 with learning disabilities
and/or mental health issues. We can also provide support to those adults with
autism, asperger’s, physical disabilities, epilepsy, complex needs and challenging
behaviours. We understand that each individual is completely different and therefore
we personalise our care and support approach in order to ensure that the service
user is receiving the most individualised support possible. We feel it essential
to recognise that each individual has the right to be treated as such; we do so
with respect and privacy whilst maintaining the dignity of the individual at all
times.
We can provide support and care with all aspects of daily living within the home
and out in the community. We strive for our support to be holistically provided,
with the aim of achieving desired outcomes for the service user. We want to make
sure that our service users live in an environment where they are supported to
develop their skills and grow as a person. Progress is essential to us and we
do not view our services just as places to live; but a home where progress and
achievement is key. We recognise that evidenced outcomes are the future of service
provision and we always strive to achieve this.
Individuals in our care are encouraged to maintain and improve upon existing abilities
and to work towards new goals. Needs of the individual are identified in their
Person Centred Plan; then further individual plans are compiled and implemented.
The ultimate goal for all is to live as independently as possible and for people
living in our services to take responsibility for their own lives.
We are able to access Further Education and QCF Courses at local colleges. Living
skills are taught and practiced in-house and in the community. Emphasis is always
upon confidence building and freedom of choice; leading to improved self-esteem
and independence.
